This service is designed for individuals and families who need more than general advice but do not require ongoing representation throughout the NHS Continuing Healthcare process. Whether you’re preparing for a Checklist or Decision Support Tool (DST) assessment, a review or an appeal, ARROW works collaboratively with you to prepare your individual case. Before your consultation, ARROW will review any information and documents you’ve uploaded when booking. During the 2-3 hour Microsoft Teams consultation, all available evidence will be used to build your case; strengths and gaps will be identified and meeting strategy developed. Practical working documents will be provided after the meeting to support the next stage of the NHS Continuing Healthcare process. Following the consultation, you’ll receive bespoke documentation prepared specifically for your case. Depending on the stage you’ve reached, this may include a draft Checklist or Decision Support Tool (DST) with indicative domain levels, together with practical recommendations and a bespoke written report to help you approach your assessment, review or appeal with confidence. |

The Decision Support Tool (DST) assessment is usually the stage at which eligibility for NHS Continuing Healthcare is determined. ARROW reviews the information and documents provided before the consultation, enabling the working session to focus on the individual’s case rather than general advice. Together, the available evidence is analysed, the care domains and Primary Health Need test are considered, and practical working documents are developed to help prepare for the assessment. |
How It WorksAfter purchasing Practical CHC Support, simply book a convenient appointment using the online calendar.
All Practical CHC Support consultations take place via Microsoft Teams and usually last 2–3 hours. No Microsoft account is required. At the time of your appointment, simply click the Teams link in your confirmation email to join the consultation. If you experience any difficulties, please contact ARROW using the telephone number provided in your confirmation email. As part of the booking process, you’ll be asked to complete a short questionnaire about your circumstances and upload any relevant documents. This allows ARROW to review the available information before the consultation so that our time together can focus on analysing your case rather than gathering background information. Family members, attorneys and care providers are welcome to join the consultation from different locations if appropriate.
