This service is designed for individuals and families who are navigating NHS Continuing Healthcare and would benefit from focused, practical guidance on a specific issue. It provides a way of obtaining independent, professional advice on a specific issue at key stages, without committing to full, ongoing support. Fee: One-Off Consultancy Support – £120 This typically includes a 60-minute consultation, together with a written summary setting out the advice given and any recommended next steps. |
How Consultancy Support is UsedConsultancy sessions provide an opportunity to consider the detail of a case in a structured and practical way. Where relevant documentation is available, this can be reviewed in advance.
A written summary will be provided following the session, setting out the advice given and any recommended next steps. Support may be sought ahead of a Checklist or full eligibility assessment, in advance of an appeal panel, or following a decision where it is unclear whether this properly reflects the individual’s needs and whether there are grounds for challenge. It may also be helpful where more immediate guidance is required, including situations where a Fast Track referral may be appropriate and there is uncertainty about how this should be initiated or progressed.
