How we helpARROW provides independent consultancy on CHC eligibility decisions, appeals and evidential analysis within the framework of the National Framework for NHS Continuing Healthcare (2022). Professionals advising families in later-life care planning increasingly encounter CHC issues within their work. Funding decisions can significantly affect financial planning, deputyship responsibilities and long-term care arrangements, yet the assessment process itself can be difficult to interpret. ARROW offers specialist input where professionals require an independent view on an eligibility decision, assistance with evidential analysis, or support in preparing a CHC appeal. Professionals may require support at different stages of a case. Some situations call for brief technical guidance, while others require more detailed written analysis or assistance with the preparation of an appeal. ARROW offers three forms of professional support. Each service can be accessed independently depending on the needs of the case. 1) Professional Advice Line
Direct access to specialist CHC expertise where a professional wishes to discuss a particular eligibility decision or explore potential grounds of challenge.
2) Independent CHC Decision Review
A structured written analysis of an NHS Continuing Healthcare eligibility decision.
3) Appeal Strategy and Drafting Support
Specialist assistance for professionals managing CHC appeals.
